Mountain Goats Hiking Camp (birth years 2011-2015)

Please note: Children born between 2011 and 2015 are eligible for Mountain Goats Hiking Camp enrollment. They must be comfortable hiking for 3-4 hours with moderate inclines.  

Challenge yourself and explore deeper into the wild with this week-long backcountry hiking day camp designed for adventurous youth. Campers will spend their days building confidence, endurance, and outdoor skills while hiking some of the North Shore’s most iconic routes. Guided by experienced leaders, participants will hike up the BCMC Trail, explore Dam Mountain, Thunderbird Ridge, Mount Fromme, Little Goat Mountain, Goat Mountain, and Crown Mountain, gaining a true sense of accomplishment with every summit reached. 

These camps are multi-day, week-long camps that run from 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Lunch Options
Please note, a lunch option is not available for the Mountain Goats Hiking Camp. Children must bring a lunch and snacks. 

Camp Check-in and Out
Check-in is at 8:30 AM in the Gondola Plaza, between the Red Skyride and Blue Grouse Gondola. Look for your assigned check-in number (provided via email before camp). Complimentary 20-minute parking is available for drop-off and pickup. Proceed to your designated check-in number after parking.

Check-out is from the base of the Mountain at 3:30pm. Please check-in with your child's assigned leader under your assigned number. Parents or guardians who arrive late will be charged a $25 late pick-up fee.

What to Bring
• Waterproof jacket and pants (Camps run rain or shine and activities will continue outside in the rain)
• As mountain conditions change rapidly, dress your child in layers and appropriately for the weather.
• Closed toed shoes. We recommend hiking or running shoes. No sandals.
• Sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat and extra socks.
• A reusable water bottle.
• Please provide your child with a lunch and snacks. Camps are a Nut Free Zone - please help us keep campers safe and refrain from including any food containing nuts.

Registration and Availability
Registration cut-off is the Wednesday prior to the first day of camp, subject to availability. Register online or contact Guest Services.
